Shaping, Designing, Sculpting Words

Gone

The Heart

The Heart (Photo credit: petalouda62)

One day he was there;

The next, he was gone.

I missed his boots, his shirt, his letters, his voice . . .

I missed him.

His leaving left a hole in my heart,

One that never mends –

That hurts.

Even so, I had to move on.

      • Anytime! It’s very relatable. It was sad for my tastes, but I would rather feel anything that not, ya know?
