I enjoy writing short stories immensely. Just because they are shorter in length does not necessarily mean that they’re super easy to write. Short stories prove quite challenging at times. Remember my rejections? I had them – all from short story writing.

I started out writing poems. Then I progressed to short stories and on to books. Please click on a story below. I hope you will enjoy the read!

But first, I do want to tell you a behind-the-scenes tidbit about “Anguished Hearts,” the newest short story I’ve published here on this site. I wrote that particular short story years ago. A teacher friend of mine read it and said she enjoyed it. She liked it so much that she asked me to please write another part to it. She did not want it to end with a cliffhanger. As a writer, sometimes I want readers to use their imagination and let them create their own ending. Nevertheless, I wrote Part II just for her. Unfortunately, the summer came and went. She did not get to read that special ending. She passed away some time later. I hope you will enjoy it, though, as much as she did.
