The Wryters' Block

Shaping, Designing, Sculpting Words

Welcome

Hello! I am Arsoleen Woolcock – author, mother, reader, lover of books!!

Have you ever read a book, loved it, and wanted to know more about the author? Have you ever been full of questions, such as “How long did it take the author to write the book? Where did the idea come from? How often does the writer write?” That happens to me all the time. Then, of course, there I sit Google-ing author facts.

The purpose of this blog is to “feed my writing habit” and sometime in the near future, I hope to take a behind-the-scene sneak peek into the lives of authors who bring us their tales, stories, and books. So I hope that you will tune in to discover another interesting read, another interesting author, and their “wryterly” advice on writing. Also, I will share with you on The Wryters’ Block samplings of my writing through thoughts, poems, and short stories.

**I appreciate your patience, as this site is still currently under construction.

If you find that this site has something to offer, I invite you to subscribe! Connect with me on Facebook! I welcome all comments and emails. You can email me at arsoleenwoolcock@arsoleenwoolcock.com and, of course, here at The Wryters’ Block.

In the meantime, Happy Reading and “Wryting”!!

         Sincerely,

        Arsoleen Woolcock

      • I’m on day 5 of Atkins and 5 pounds down! It’s not for everyone, but if it works for you, it’s awesome. I’m just a carb lover, so it is hard at first. After awhile, I will get used to skipping the good stuff and will be ok with it because I will be dropping the pounds. If you have never tried it, check it out and see if it’s something you might like. http://www.atkins.com. I will let you know how the kettlebells work – if I can just get started with them!

      • Thank you! I’ve never tried the Atkins diet. I will read up on it and, hopefully, give it a try! I love carbs, sweets, too much of everything!:)
